"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"

How your septic system works

All household waste is disposed of through the septic system.  Your septic tank is a holding place for solids to be broken down into liquids to be disposed of in the drain field.  Sludge is made of solids that are not able to be broken down and sinks to the bottom of the tank.

Why maintain?

By pumping your tank every 3 or 4 years, you remove the sludge and solids that would eventually build-up and invade your drain field, creating costly repairs.
